Description
Our client is looking for a Recovery Worker to provide crisis intervention and support to service users who are experiencing a psychiatric and or psychosocial crisis.

Support service users in the development of emotional management skills, personal and life skills with the aim of attaining greater independence and self esteem.
Implement a structured support and safety planning programme with service users to deliver agreed outcomes
Develop domestic management and finance management skills with service users in order to allow increased and improved access to support from this and other services.
Liaise with external agencies, making referrals as required.
Support sessional staff and volunteers in carrying out their duties
Using the RF Client Management System, keep accurate records of service user assessments.
Develop links and referral pathways with a range of agencies including, DWP, accommodation services, health services, police etc.
Positively promote the service at all times, including participating in community education initiatives, raising awareness of therapeutic community aims and objectives and taking part in activities designed specifically to publicise the service.
Work flexibly within an agreed framework on a 24hr/7day week shift rota including on call and waking nights.

*Rate of pay £10.50ph* negotiable for the right candidate
