Resourcing Group are recruiting on behalf of a respected and established Domestic Violence Service Provider for a Refuge and Children's Services Manager to work in Essex.

The organisation provides refuge, outreach and community support to victims of Domestic Abuse and works in conjunction with a number of external agencies to facilitate move on, community engagement and promote independent living.

The Refuge and Children's Services Manager will work closely with victims of domestic abuse in a refuge setting, supervising teams which provide 24 hour support to those residing in the refuges.

Responsibilities:
*Directly line managing 2 Children's and Young Person Case Workers and 3 Domestic Abuse Caseworkers
*Carrying a caseload of 2 refuge clients, as well as supporting complex, high risk floating support clients in the community as and when needed
*Representing the client at partnership meetings, attending the MARAC on behalf of the organisation in conjunction with the Community Services Manager
*Managing and developing a staff team, ensuring their involvement in the continuous improvements of the services, including supporting staff through regular monthly supervisions and carrying out probationary reviews
*Acting as the Deputy Safeguarding Lead for the organisation, identifying any safeguarding issues within the services for adults and or children, to follow the set safeguarding procedures and complete safeguarding alerts to Head of Operations
*Managing an allocated budget in conjunction with the Head of Operations and Finance Officer

Essential Requirements:
*Enhanced CRB within the last 12 months
*Minimum of 1 year staff and team management experience
*Previous experience of supporting victims of Domestic Violence

Our client, a Domestic Violence Charity in the North West, is looking to recruit a Manager for their Male Intervention Programme. The programme is a therapeutic course which works with perpetrators of domestic abuse to identify reasons behind abuse, reduce risk of re-offending and support them in changing their behaviour.

The successful candidate will be working for a forward thinking charity that excels at designing, and delivering niche programmes which work with survivors and perpetrators to prevent future abuse.

You will be project managing all male intervention services which include developing a comprehensive programme of activities, managing individual project timelines and reporting on project outcomes and progress.

You will oversee and review a team of session facilitators and volunteers and will lead on the delivery of the therapeutic behaviour change programme sessions.

You will be taking ownership of the risk register and will oversee continuous progress assessments of individuals on the programme. You will also be working closely with the Partner Support Workers to ensure victim is updated with their progress and what to expect.

The successful candidate will be working with a number of agencies, organisations and professionals, attending the MARAC, supporting collaborative working and keeping all partner agencies/ commissioners updated with programme and individual client's progress.

You be considered for this role you will need to have a background in working with either victims/ perpetrators of abuse (this can be from within a Domestic Violence specific organisation or from partner agencies such as Probation, Mental Health/ Substance Misuse Services, the Police and/ or Social Services) and/ or experience of facilitating therapeutic programmes.

It would be ideal (but not essential) if you hold a relevant qualification or degree (psychology, social work etc).

We are currently looking for 4 experienced electricians.

The main duty of the vacancy is to carry out day to day electrical repairs which have been pre booked as well as responding to emergency electrical issues on the day. This will involve mainly completing MEIWC and occasionally DEIC certificates. The successful candidate must also have experience of completing EICR's as holiday cover will be expected for different areas of the business.

Other duties include:

Carrying out electrical work mainly in domestic buildings however some commercial work will also be expected, including consumer unit changes, electrical rewires, wiring upgrades, minor works repairs and fault finding.

To be fully conversant with all aspects of electrical installation works of both 230v and 400v.


You will be doing 40 hours a week Monday to Friday.

Essential Requirements:

- 2391 & 17th Edition accreditation
- Previous domestic electrical experience
- Live within reasonable distance of the Stafford

Desirable:

- Previous experience working on social housing
