The scheme based in Suffolk offers support to individuals from homeless backgrounds.

We are looking for an experienced individual who has worked with vulnerable people in a support function and within a supported housing environment.

You will be working out of our stunning and beautiful new Care & Support scheme and you will be working and offering support to front line workers to deliver excellent services;

Directly coordinate and lead support services and ensure excellent housing management services
Leading and supporting customer engagement initiatives and activities
Directly managing and supporting colleagues to deal with incidents and emergencies;
Proactively working with multiple external stakeholders

The total number of hours for this post will be 39 hours per week and will involve flexible working.

Who we are looking for



You will have experience of working in a supported housing function and have had exposure to working and supporting vulnerable people from homeless backgrounds or similar.

You will have experience of providing services to customers with care and/or support needs similar to those within the post's remit, social housing or social care environment.

You will have supervisory experience within a supported housing scheme or function.

You will have plentiful Experience of working within a team environment and experience of using your own initiative to solve problems,

Our Care & Support business has recently undergone an ambitious change programme which will not only enable us to deliver outstanding services within a fast changing marketplace but also to become a leading provider of choice within the sector. Our first phase of the transformation programme has nearly been completed and this has created new positions across a number of key business areas including an exciting opportunity for a Support Assistant in Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire.

You will be working with and giving Extra Care related support to approx. 50 customers who are over the age of 60 or have physical disability and are under the age of 60 with support needs.



The role involves being responsible for supporting customers in their day-to-day activities . Also, to provide a high quality, customer focused service. You will be required to work within a scheme supporting older people so will need to demonstrate a customer focused approach and be proficient in health and safety procedures.



The total number of hours for this post will be 14 hours per week. This role will be offered as a 3 month fixed term contract with a possibility of extension. Secondment policy applies to internal staff.

Please be aware the salary for this post will pro rata to £5,694 per annum.

You will possess basic IT skills and basic First Aid Skills.

<![CDATA[Works Supervisor]]> http://www.resourcinggroup.co.uk/display_job/81606/Works-Supervisor.html My client, a maintanence contractor in partnership with a major housing association, is currently looking for a Works Supervisor for their Basingstoke location on a 2 year FTC.

You will be expected to have gained supervisory experience working on a maintenance contract within social housing for a contractor (2-3 years min).

Your responsibilities will include the following

*To Carry out inspections and report back on works required including a plan of works and costs.
*To liaise with the Management team regarding procurement of labour and plant equipment and material.
*To monitor contracts start and completion dates and to ensure all formal letters regarding delays and requests for deadline extensions are submitted as required by the contract.
*To ensure that all accidents and incidents on their projects are reported promptly and accurately.

You will be expected to have good IT, numeracy, communication (written and verbal), H&S and leadership skills.

In return, you will receive an annual salary of £28k plus van, phone and fuel card.

There are three different project starting and my client is looking for working foreman to help set up on site, look after day to day activities and manage the tradesmen.

These project start in late June 2015 and my client are looking to meet candidates over the next 2/3 weeks for a chat.

Must be fully qualified as a site Carpenter
Must hold a valid full SMSTS card
Must have experience in managing other tradesmen
Must have experience in running a construction project
