My client are currently looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join the team in social housing in West London. The role will require an inspirational leader who can lead by example. Managing a team of tradesman and doing inspections/reports on void and occupied properties.The Supervisor will have to ensure all day-to-day activities are completed to a high standard. Working in a very client & customer facing role you will have excellent communication skills and be able to articulate yourself in sometimes demanding situations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and have experience of working in demanding, client facing environments. A strong understanding of health & safety with either an IOSH or NEBOSH. Also an understanding of budget/p&l would also be advantageous.

However, you may be required to carry out various handyman tasks. This job is a mobile role and will involve working from a PDA hand held device. Your main duties will consist of clearing out void properties, strip outs, lifting flooring, boarding up void properties, hanging doors, changing light bulbs, fixing leaks, hanging doors and any other related duties.
