My Client, a prestigious Local Authority in West London, seeks a Strategic Compliance Lead to develop the compliance strategy to make it a more robust one, and lead its implementation. Once done this area of work will be maintained as business as usual.
The appointed candidate will manage a number of servicing and maintenance contract managers - (water, asbestos, FM, gas and electric and lifts).
The role requires someone with the following skills and experience:
PRINCE2, CIPS, MSP, MBA
Extensive experience of successfully leading major transformation, innovation and/or service improvement programmes within large complex organisations to deliver tangible outcomes
A track record of successfully leading and managing cross-functional project groups to drive through significant efficiency savings or quality improvements as a result of more effective service design whilst maintaining strong service outcomes
Capable of working in a senior strategic role in a large and complex organisation in a project management capacity
Excellent strategic influence and negotiation skills to drive and manage change and deliver strategic priorities and secure outcome
An innovative and imaginative approach and the ability to identify new and credible options and solutions for service development
Significant experience of applying strong analytical skills and lateral thinking to develop transformation strategies, plans and innovative service delivery options
Proven stakeholder management and engagement skills, combined with evidence of strong political skills in a complex environment and sensitivity to stakeholder needs and priorities
Evidence of successfully managing and mitigating risks in service design and delivery
Knowledge of public sector organisations, partnership working practices and other relevant legislation.
The role involves the following:
Develop the compliance strategy.
Lead the delivery of the compliance work plan.
Develop supporting policies & procedures.
Lead the implementation of the action plan.
Lead the compliance team.
Develop further compliance operational procedures as necessary.
Assist in the implementation of the Keystone compliance module.
A clear and reportable review / audit of the current process
Develop a new strategy in consultation with key stakeholders
Produce an action plan to develop and implement the renewed strategy
Delivery of a revised compliance strategy including policies, procedures, and methodologies that will support a return to Business As Usual.
Management of the team of service contract managers.
