Project Quantity Surveyor - Industrial Units - £45,000 - £60,000 & Package

I am currently recruiting for a site based Quantity Surveyor to control new build projects throughout the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a specialist contractor that has been thriving and growing since their inception in 2016. They have in house expertise to deliver large scale industrial projects from concept design and consultancy to project completion. The initial project is a large distribution centre in Bristol

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conducting feasibility studies to estimate materials, time and labour costs
  • Preparing, negotiating and analysing costs for tenders and contracts
  • Coordination of work effort
  • Advising on a range of legal and contractual issues
  • Valuing completed work and arranging for payments


  • Degree in Quantity Surveying
  • Controlled new build projects up to £20M
  • Happy to operate on a nationwide basis
  • Structured career history
  • Contactable references

Personality Profile:

  • Methodical way of thinking
  • Good knowledge of construction
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Good financial and numeracy management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiating skills
  • The ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements readily
  • Computer literate
  • A clear understanding of HSE building regulations and legal guidelines

This would suit someone that wants to work as part of a large team on site, someone who is keen to progress and develop their career.

This will be a two stage interview process first with the Construction Director and the second with the Commercial Manager.

Interviews are available week commencing the 14th and a start can be organised as soon as it suits both parties.
