Job description

Our client, an NHS wholly owned subsidiary company based in Surrey, is currently seeking an Interim TFM Mobilisation Manager for a period of around 6 months.

They also have ambitious plans to further expand their commercial activities, especially in the Total Facilities Management (TFM) categories, so are seeking someone who will enhance their current mobilisation capabilities more broadly.

Duties Include:

* Ensure the successful transition of newly awarded FM projects through utilising your extensive mobilisation experience and working closely with the contracts and operational Teams at all stages, leading the mobilisation phase, seamlessly handing over the project to the operational managers and supporting them during the transition through to steady state.
* Be the point of continuity for mobilisation and service transition management across all newly awarded projects.
* Work with the Senior Team and peers in driving continuous improvement into new operations and hence increase the value of the businesses offer to existing and new Customers.
* Utilise best practice at every opportunity and develop the framework for the way they work.
* Work closely with the Contracts and operational teams and provide operational input into solution design.
* Develop credible mobilisation and transition approach tailored to each bid opportunity to be submitted as part of an ITT.
* Ensure an effective handover to the operational team.
* Produce and maintain a detailed mobilisation and service transition plan for all new projects developed in Microsoft Project
* Develop the Trust's mobilisation capabilities, including development and implementation of Policies, procedures and training

Required Skills & Experience:

* Demonstrable experience of mobilising Total Facilities Management contracts, ideally within a healthcare environment (or similar large scale public sector such as local authorities, universities etc.)
* Significant experience of Facilities Management
* Qualified in an FM related discipline
