Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Hourly pay rate - £21.00 - £23.00 (UMB)

Start Date: ASAP start-2 months duration (possibility to extend)

Shift Times: 8am-4pm Monday to Friday (Sometimes weekends)

Location: London

I am currently working with an NHS trust in London to recruit for a Electrical Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a solid track record working within large plant rooms within the NHS or equivalent size sites carrying out PPM & reactive maintenance work.

Duties:

• To carry out routine maintenance (PPM) of electrical plant as directed by the electrical team leader.
• To be able to fault find on electric motors and their associated control gear.
• To activate change over of plant and or it's safe isolation in the event of a malfunction or breakdown.
• Experience in fault finding and maintenance of various types of alarm system.
• Experience in fault finding and installation on building electrical services
• Have a working knowledge of building management systems.
• Have some experience of 415V standby alternator sets.
• Able to carry out minor mechanical work such as connection/disconnection of belt drives, pulley and direct drive couplings.
• To efficiently diagnose and repair faults in electrical installations, plant and equipment; to deal with new situations as they arise and to pass on knowledge to others.
