We are currently seeking a skilled Glazier to join our team for a temporary contract at Holmes Road Depot. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of building repairs, maintenance, and renewal tasks across occupied and void properties.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake all aspects of glazing work, including reactive repairs, major renewals, and replacements.
Diagnose faults and identify the most effective and cost-efficient solutions to prevent repeat issues.
Ensure all work complies with current building regulations and safety standards, prioritizing resident safety.
Identify follow-on or related repair works and provide detailed reports for scheduling.
Deliver outstanding customer service and act as a representative for the repairs team and the Council.
Work independently with minimal supervision and use initiative to resolve issues effectively.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Glazier in maintenance and repair work.
Strong knowledge of building regulations and industry standards.
Ability to diagnose and resolve building defects efficiently.
Excellent customer service skills and a professional approach.
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
